First let me say that I am always skeptical of anyone who calls themselves a lawyer, more from my own preconceptions and those that we see running/ruining our government than from personal experience, but still skeptical. I also consider myself to have a quick trigger on my B.S. meter and can spot a fake from a mile away!!! So it was surprising to me when I walked into his law office and was met by a warm and friendly receptionist whose name currently escapes me (my sincere apologies if she ever reads this). To me, it was a mild comfort that his decision making to represent himself with a well mannered and kind person was a good start, but I was still skeptical.
