They were not interested in taking my case. But referred my to his son at his own firm. He would take my case nut I was to pay 1st for a consultation. And second pay quite a bit if he was going to take it to court. To me that means he doesn’t have a lot of faith in his own ability. This is just an opinion. No facts, just phone calls and My opinion.

I live out of state but am dealing with a family property issue. I was looking for an attorney in WV to help navigate the law there and draw up a land contract etc. When I ask if I could speak with someone about WV real estate I was told “We do not give advice over the phone, good day” First off I needed an attorney but I do not want to drive 500 miles if they can’t help me. And you can not even bother to find out what I need? My one and only experience via phone was horrible.
