In January 2018, Mr. McMurray left the District Attorney General’s Office and accepted a position as an associate attorney with Mr. R. Wayne Culbertson’s office. Since that time Mr. McMurray has found great success in many areas of law including criminal defense, personal injury, social security disability, probate/estate issues as well as family law. Given his education and experience, Mr. McMurray prides himself as a trial attorney and devotes himself to most areas of litigation in the firm. In addition to his work at the firm, he was also an adjunct professor at King University.

A couple months ago or so Mr. McMurray handled an issue I had been dealing with for 8 years in a single day. He saw me the same day I called and he and staff treated me so kindly. I felt supported and left w the impression that I had someone in my corner. Such a relief washed over me. He did not make me feel as though I had somehow created an insurmountable problem for myself. He got the job done. Dismissed. He was once upon a time with the DA office and he’s in with Culbertson now so he’s well known in Kingsport. Friendly and chill guy and isn’t like some of the other attorneys that think they’re stuff don’t stink. I was able to make payments as well. Huge thanks!
