Almost 2 months after dropping off my taxes and never got done. I would call and email asking for an update and the 1 time they answered was “they are still being worked on.” I knew this meant there was something wrong or they have not done them yet. I asked which is it and didn’t get a response. A little honesty would have been appreciated and I would have been patient and waited until they could get to my taxes but after 2 months of being ignored and not getting a simple answer, my patience ran out. I understand 1st come 1st serve, but my in-laws took theirs in after us and got them back. Being transparent with customers is very important and they ignored me and led me to believe my taxes were being worked on when my file was just sitting at the receptionist counter for 2 months.
