After a lengthy search a friend recommended Bretz & Coven , LLP. I contacted them , their office staff was very friendly and helpful and scheduled a consultation with mr. Bretz. After careful review of all my documents and my complete immigration history, he advised me that there was a possibility that i overcome deficiency . He was extremely knowledgeable about immigration law and especially where it intersects with criminal law and so i was very comfortable and filed my case. The only reason for the 4 stars is I had to originally reach out to them initially, but afterwards everything was perfect. In other words, if it’s important to you, then it becomes of an importance to them.After 5 years of back and forth with my complex N-400 case, I finally decided to hire a specialize law firm to help me with my re-application. Like many New Yorkers and I who struggle to understand the legality of the immigration system, I highly recommend you consult an immigration lawyer even if it means paying a little extra to help you with your case done promptly. In the end, having a peace of mind is what matters.The lawyer assigned to me was Ms. Sae-Jung Lee and her paralegal Maria Cheng. Even in the midst of COVID-19, their prompt response to any questions I had was valuable to my case. Sae-Jung and I communicated through email and the google meet weeks before my interview to go over the details of my form. On the day of the interview, it was a breeze. Long story short, I was naturalized during the pandemic because of the help from Sae-Jung and Maria.The whole process took over a year span. Now to be clear folks, there are a couple of people that work under Bretz & Coven, so this opinion is for the two individuals mentioned above. I met Ms. Chandiramani for my case and saw briefly Mister Bretz who came see me and explain why he chose Ms. Chandiramani to see me. She is a specialist attorney for cases like mine. I had a very good experience there. Everyone was nice to me. Ms. Chandiramani answered all my questions and took time to do it. The office is very close to the 6 train Brooklyn Bridge and very easy to find. Mister Bretz seems to be really nice and he took a few minutes of his time to come see me at Ms. Chandiramani’s office. I will say Bretz and Coven gave me a new world … a new life….I got my citizenship finally today because of them. I was illegal immigrant like since 16 years. They got me green card and now Citizenship. My case was very complicated and everybody said NO. I have to go back. But Bretz and Coven helped me.
