Most of the people who work there are helpful. But some of the lawyers are bias because they have worked at one time for the landlords and aren’t willing to give advice that may be harmful to them

The Judges have seen enough to know that management is corrupt. I literally had to have court documents replaced because management broke in and stole the court documents.

Yvette Parker was the absolute most pleasant person I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking with from any NYC agency. I could hear the smile in her voice as she spoke to me (yes that’s a real thing) and she was patient, kind and verified all my information as accurate before giving me my next steps and ending the call. Kindness goes a long way, especially when people are stressed and anxious.

Not a long line here yet today. Beautiful new building and nice court officers.

Well for the most part judges are willing to help you give you time to getting a 1 shot deal from public assistant and once that’s in record at the courts your worries are less. But for the most everyone that i have dealt with all are very helpful and respectful. Judges don’t want families in shelters.

Very disrespectful receptionist. I called to get information as per advice from a 311 call. I explained the situation and was accused of calling a week prior. (I NEVER called until today) I had no clie you were unable to call about information at this time. Instead of explaining that like a normal person she insisted i refer to information she gave last week. Again. I never called this office. I dont know what happened to her last week but that had absolutely nothing to do with me. I was just calling based on a call I made to 311 prior and the receptionist at the court house was entitled, rude, indignant and extremely disrespectful and im sad people like that are allowed to serve the public. I was completely shocked and felt helpless in a sense trying to prove I am not whoever she is accusing me to be. I am still shocked it happened now. There is no issue in professionally informing someone you have to call back when those offices are open. But to be combative and claim I called before and all this stuff is extremely unprofessional. If this is how comfortable the receptionist feels in treating the public I can imagine what goes on. Scary.

I can’t say that this court is slow, too many tenants in a building. So if employees are rude, this is the human nature. We have nice and rude people. As for me it’s ok. Too many tenants, few judges and attorneys for each rooms to handle lots of people, so respondents get use to it.

Called housing court to ask if they’re was a court date and lady who responded was so rude. Gave an attitude for no reason. Who ever is picking up the phone should be re-evaluated when calling from management office. The call did not even last a full minute, I never give reviews, but I’m so disgusted with an employer who should feel pride for working in the legal system. Especially at a court house.

There’s such a thing called professionalism. The bronx housing court sincerely lacks that. From the rudeness of the person that answers the phone when asked simple questions as your schedule of operation to the staff that rudely dismissive when you are in the middle

The energy as soon as you walk in the door is negative. They look down on you not realizing you are the owner not a tenant. They try to be condescending not realizing they are making themselves look bad. It sad how we treat each other. Just because a person is a tenant doesn’t make them a bad person.
