Had high hopes for the Cayuga County Sheriffs in the beginning, but they have — so far — failed at their jobs of protecting the innocent. I’ll change this review when and if they address the fact that a Cornell IT employee who lives in Moravia has been abusing my children for the past two years, and others for the past 10 years.

TERRIBLE STAFF. This rating is really not even worth the one star rating that appears , to be completely HONEST. These people act like and think they are better than everyone else. Harassed me about the proper way to wear my id tag (which was a dumb idea to begin with – they should have left it like it was years ago when you did not need to wear id) Trying to tell me I need to wear it on the front of my shirt so people can see it when I wear it on my sleeve in perfect view for all to see, Stevie Wonder could see that – It’s not like you are John Cena and they can’t see anything. So THESE people THEMSELVES have no business wearing any patches on THEIR sleeves because according to THEM, all people are blind and cannot see. I see people wear their ID’S on their HAT’S and they never say anything to THEM. The majority of this dept. are not friendly to the public, do not say “Good morning” or “Good afternoon” and THESE guys have been ARRESTED, LOOK IT UP in 2002 and just recently back in April 2019 and of course THIS ALL just get’s swept under the rug- and when you report them to their boss’es, their boss’es just want your phone number so they can stick up for their sorry employee’s and try and put the whole blame on YOU-instead of sending you an EMAIL back, I mean if you wanted to include your phone number you would have. nice people you hire, perhaps you need to bring some females in that place and get rid of these guys and see how the females do. And this sheriff dept. are people that have to call the auburn pd to do their own job that they get paid to do-it’s on the police scanner all of the time.
