Derek is thoughtful and upfront with your case. A lot of other people who are unhappy, really sound like they’re just unhappy that Derek couldn’t “get them off”. For me and my case, I KNEW what I had coming. But Derek got me the BEST possible deal. I ended up getting a 90 day sentence in County when I was looking at 3 years for a mistake. It was my fault. I get that. But Derek helped every step of the way. I trust this guy.

WARNING… Please stay away from this law firm! My cousin recently hired them as he got detained by Immigration. After talking to several attorneys, they all said they could not help him because he had a deportation order. He stumbled upon Mr. Soriano who sent in his assistant to do a meeting with my cousin. They made up a story about him owing child support which turned out to be fake because he was never had anything related to children support ever. They told my cousin they were positive they would be able to get him out, possibly even without bail. They charged my cousin $4500 to do this and once paid, they changed their minds and told him that they could not do anything to help him. Instead they said they would see what they could do for an additional $5,000 knowing that the case had no chance and my cousin was getting deported. These people take advantage of people in difficult situations and capitalize on them. They will process you the moon and the stars and will only visit you when its time to ask for more money. My cousin contacted them multiple times to please meet with him and they never did until it was time to ask for more money.

Stay far away from this law firm!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very shady all they care about is $$. They pretty much took everything from my elderly parents that they had, they still did not help them, and then asked for more $. This is so sad and it angers me that people can be so cold and only care about the money. “If you take care of people, people will take care of you”! Maybe he missed that lesson in whatever law school he went too!! There is more but I will stop there. If you are looking for an honest good attorney, please make sure you do your research!!!!

I would give them a zero if I could .worst experience with law firm every .took my 5,000 retainer and disappeared. Gave me bad advice no advice and no bill just wanted 5000 more to finish simple case .did not file one piece of evidence. Avoid at all costs .
