I recently had the pleasure of working with Ellen to mediate my divorce. Ellen is an amazing person and very good at her job! She walked my ex-husband and me through every step of the process, guiding us the whole time and letting us know our rights. Ellen was even by the phone waiting to help if anything should go wrong at the court house. Ellen was kind, thoughtful, sincerely concerned about the welfare of our family and very fair. She listened attentively, respected all opinions and concerns, was nonjudgemental and worked hard to come up with a plan that would work for both of us. I highly recommend Ellen. I posted this rating due to the problems and aggravation incurred by me on the morning of my divorce hearing. I mistakenly assumed that our paperwork was incorrectly prepared by Ellen as I was told by judge Emmons. In reality all the forms were correct above and beyond what was expected by the court. It has since come to my attention that Ellen was not at fault at all, but that judge Emmons was in complete error in reviewing our forms. I believe she is being removed from the bench or being investigated for her actions and rulings while on the bench.
