My husband and I hired Tyler to represent us for a lawsuit in construction we had a legal binding signed contract with the customer and he took our case and we paid our retainer (which wasn’t cheap). This has went on for a couple years and never got any updates on the case, my husband called every other week to get updates and never one time did he get to speak to Tyler. Bills kept coming in another 300$ we paid then we get a call saying the customer feels as if they owe 7,000$ but not the 11,000$ we were suing for, so he needs us to itemize everything they owe which we had already provided for him at the beginning. My husband finally called back and told him If they wanted to settle for 7,000$ we would settle and call it paid. Tyler said ok I will call you right back we’ll two more months went by and no call back. So we get another bill for 700$ in mail my husband called the office and never was able to talk to anyone that knew what was going on. So we refused to pay 700$ more without speaking to Tyler. So the next week we get a letter in the mail saying Tyler is withdrawing from our case. The judge granted the withdrawal, so my husband once again called the office but they wouldn’t let him speak to Tyler. My husband also offered to go ahead and pay the additional 700$ But nothing no return calls or anything. I don’t know if there wasn’t enough money involved for him or what after we agreed to take a lesser amount or what but I think that was wrong anyway you want to look at it. I will not recommend him to anyone. I am contacting the bar association and filing a complaint. I mean we worked our butt off at customer job and they already know with a signed contract and job completed they owe it. You work, you do right and hire an attorney and they do nothing but take your money!! Not one bit happy about the situation.

Positive: Professionalism, QualityA lot of people fail to realize that if your guilty of a crime then just be grateful of any reduction of sentence that is given. Because truth be know. I did some years in prison. I was charged for a crime I wasn’t guilty of and Mr. Price did a phenomenal job at what he does. Thanks to the team for your help and being solid representatives of law. 5-starsA lot of people fail to realize that if your guilty of a crime then just be grateful of any reduction of sentence that is given. Critical: Professionalism, QualityScheduled an appt for consultation a week prior – gave details about what consultation was needed. They called the day before to reschedule not a big deal since my husband took a vacation day off of work to attend the meeting- then the day of meeting just two hours before it was to happen they called and abruptly cancel and say they don’t handle those types of cases – you couldn’t tell us last week when we set up the appt. Or the day before when you called to reschedule?Scheduled an appt for consultation a week prior – gave details about what consultation was needed. Critical: ValueI hired John Tyler Hammons to create a document and go to a court hearing. I ended up having an additional hearing set. I called his office and emailed many times to see if he was going to represent me for an additional charge. His secretary called me at 3:00 the day before the hearing to let me know I did not hire him for this upcoming appearance and he was not going to show up. I did not have time to find new representation. I also called and e-mailed countless times over the original hearing back in December. I finally got the results of that hearing when I got the letter for this current probate hearing that he refuses to attend. I will not use him again for probate or any further court needs due to his lack of responsiveness.I hired John Tyler Hammons to create a document and go to a court hearing. Critical: Professionalism, QualityThis is in regards to Matthew Price. I would not recommend this attorney. My son had never been contacted by him, when his office assistant Kassandra sent my son a plea deal and told him to sign it. Me and my husband looked it over knowing how attorneys like to shove plea deals down your throat, just hoping you’ll fall for the DAs recommendation so they can be done with you. My son has never in trouble previously, arrested on a petty misdemeanor and they wanted to offer him a year suspended with a ton of additional requirements to complete. We all know you don’t give suspended sentences on first time misdemeanor offenses. They wanted him to report in person for DA supervision. We live out of state in Missouri, they knew dang good and well my son couldn’t do what they were asking. This attorney should have went to bat for him with the DA and explained the situation, but he didn’t. Like how hard is it to understand,WE DONT LIVE IN OKLAHOMA! My son eventually did agree to the plea deal ONLY because we are not in a position to fight it out of state. Mr. Price stated that he spoke to the DA personally and the DA said my son did not have to report in person at all. All reporting could be via the mail since Daniel lives out of state. Oddly enough, I receive an email from his office assistant telling Daniel to report in person to the DAs office . I emailed her back and asked when this changed as we were last advised he could report via mail. Kassandra never answered my email! He does not care about you or your situation! This gentleman is on the verge of being completely ineffective counsel on Daniels behalf. I would not recommend this attorney. If you want sentences that are non sense and an attorney who won’t fight for your rights. Then this is the attorney for you!!This is in regards to Matthew Price. I would not recommend this attorney.
