I haven’t had to do my own taxes in 25 years my husband just took care of them for us because he’s a small business owner. So this year i called and made an appointment with a well known place in town to have my taxes done and even asked up front how much it would be and was quoted starts at $135, so me thinking mine is so simple it shouldn’t be over $135 by much. The tax preparer was super nice and knowledgeable and made the experience very easy for me, but charged me $335 I never said a word smiled and paid it but inside I was FLIPPING OUT!!! It took all of about an hour and was charged $335 I felt so sick and cried all day over this. I just want to know is that a normal fee for a single person with just W-2 and a few other tax papers nothing out of the ordinary? I know people have to make a living but DANG!!!!! Is this the normal price or what??? I know in all the years my husband had our taxes done by the same lady in Dawsonville I know he never paid over $100-$150 and his taxes were very complicated being he was self employed and had to keep up with lots of deductions. Please just help me settle my mind it really took me by surprise and I’m friends with the one I made the appointment with she is super sweet and I’ve known her for years and I know it’s not her fault but I feel very taken advantage of so if that’s the normal going rate then so be it I’ll just live and learn to do my own taxes next year lol!! I’ll be sure to pass along my experience so no one else gets ripped off as badly as I did. It’s so sad because Ms. Nunez was so sweet but VERY EXPENSIVE!!

Always had a good experience with this location until this year. Made an appointment for 1pm only to wait for 30 minutes to be told id need to reschedule because she has to leave for her other job and no one else is available… Just upsetting and unprofessional why allow me to make the appointment in the first place if you dont have time to do your job because of a second job..

I had to wait more than 45 minutes. I arrive on time and had to wait 45 minutes more. There was one worker name Mary she retired but honey when I tell you this lady knew her stuff.
