I’m a very “need to know now” type of person and she always answered my questions in a timely manner and made me feel at ease about the whole adoption process. The staff was always very nice and helpful too. Anytime I needed anything they were always willing to help. Blair helped to make our dream of becoming parents a reality. Also, the fees for this process was very reasonable for the amazing services that were provided. If we ever decide to do another adoption and need an attorney, Blair is our top choice! Everyone else has given this firm five stars. So apparently they do things right sometimes, or used to, or something. But I have had completely consistent nonaction, noncommunication, and lack of apology for five months now. I call and call and even go by the office asking for a phone call and answers, and it generally takes several weeks for me to get anything. I had to drop them because they didn’t get my job finished in time: checks made out to my mom’s estate have all expired by now. In my one conversation in the last five months, Blair offered to give me a refund of the retainer, but it’s been several more weeks now, and I don’t have a refund, and I’m getting notices for a court date that I asked her to cancel. Again in the last few days I’ve called and emailed asking for a return call, but I haven’t heard back from them at all. Is it me? I’m even more baffled now that I see the five-star reviews others have left here.
