I would give them less then this but one star is the lowest I can go. I never right reviews ever, so the fact I’m actually taking the time to do this, you can only imagine my anger. First John Escobar, (name even sounds made up), asked me to apply for a loan so I can pay there retainer, I did and was approved. I was excited and thought this is good I’m on my way. John transferred me to a new attorney, her name Bethany. Bethany ask me to send my documents l do. Then 3 hours later said she did not believe she can win full custody. Kids lived with me originally, mom kidnapped them. Mom was trying to say an issue happened on a none substantiated case. I actually got the kids back on my own. Was a very easy case to win, but apparently “John Buchmiller Associates”, didn’t want to do there job. That’s fine, my issue is why keep my down payment, then stop responding to me? Then I get an email last night they’re trying to charge me $405 for my first payment. You can’t be serious. I called Vegas, Chicago, then was transferred to Florida no action taken just more false promises. Run don’t walk, run away from this company. Nothing about them is honest. It’s sad in a time people are seeking help and looking to gain your services, scared and unsure of the outcome they turn to you and you take further advantage. You should be ashamed of yourselves I get it. We all need to make money, but you didn’t even try yet still feel you deserve my money? Your criminals with degrees, saddest part about that your probably smiling and taking it as a compliment. To every father out there or mother, do not waste your time with this company. It’s a joke!

Do not come to this people unless you want to waste your time and money. They will sale you the dream to later deliver a nightmare. I came with a child custody case, to see if they could help me. The only thing they did was take my money and make my situation even worse. A lawyer is there to help you and guide you the right way. Not for you to tell him how to do his job and what to address to the judge. A good lawyer will tell you what do so you have a better chance of winning the case, not put you in a bigger hole than the one your trying to get out off. Was greeted and buttered up by the owner of the firm John. To then be send with a incompetent lawyer who didn’t even know what he was doing. Two months later I fired the lawyer and was told by John I would get part of the money and to give them a second chance. They paired me with another lawyer Suzanne whom seem more knowledgeable. But then 2 month later quit my case because she was moving to another firm. I wonder why !!! this firms is a joke and don’t have good edicts. Your better of representing your self.

Ex decided to take me back to court and I was in desperate need of a pittbull attorney that would stop his frivolous motion. Attorney Kristina Black came highly recommend. Hiring Kristina was the best decision I could have ever made! She was amazing with communicating, listened to everything I had to say, did her research and due diligence with all the information he had mentioned in the motion and went into court beyond prepared for anything and everything they brought up. I was going through a divorce and retained an attorney from this firm. The first lawyer decided a few months before my trial that she no longer wanted to practice family law. Without even telling me, I was assigned a different lawyer. The new attorney was ok until my ex presented a settlement offer. I did not want to sign the agreement but my attorney stated that she will not represent me if I dont take the offer. I tried to find a different attorney, but by then my trial date was 3 weeks away and no other attorney felt comfortable taking over. Please don’t make the same mistakes I did. Choose a good attorney!
