I reached out to Attorney Guida on recomendation of GOAL president. I was the victim of a “Red Flag” order and lost my LTC due to a vindictive (now ex) wife. Jason was upfront regarding his fees and services. His office worked closely with me and kept me up to date regarding my case. I am pleased to confirm I now have a valid FID and will be able to reapply for LTC in a short time. Too much back story for this review.

Very rude and spoke to me as if I was a terrible person when I have no convictions. Saying just because I wasn’t convicted didn’t mean I didn’t do it and it sounds like I have a answer for everything. I’m a person who had a rough life and have spent the last 5 years developing myself to become a better person; PEOPLE CHANGE AND GROW! I work with mentally ill adults to become independent and previously worked with kids! YOU CAN’T BE DANGEROUS AND DO MY JOB WORKINGWITH VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS! If he wasn’t interested in supporting me he should have said that! Lawyers defend people not judge and crucify them!

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueI do not normally write reviews unless there are exceptional circumstances. Here is my honest opinion and impression of Attorney Jason Guida and his practice. My case, like many that are heard in the courtroom was extremely convoluted. My specific issue was created by the changes in the legislation around firearms licensing, when chapter 284 of the Acts of 2014 was signed into law. I had already completed the process to get my LTC, in fact I already possessed an un-restricted LTC. Upon the attempted renewal of that license, I was informed by my local firearms officer that I would need to seek council because of the revised laws of 2014. I reached out to Att. Guida, who offered a cost free assessment my case and was very transparent about his fee schedule, which was very reasonable. There was no pressure to go one way or the other, just honest guidance, backed with years of experience. Once I decided to have Jason represent me, I instantly felt I had made the correct choice. My very first interaction with Att. Guida his experience and expertise in the field were incredibly apparent. During the course of my case, it was placed on a total hold, and then severely delayed due to the pandemic. However, Jason maintained constant contact with me throughout the whole process and was always available to answer my questions. Ultimately, with Jason’s persistence my case was heard via Skype secession. In this unprecedented time when cases are being heard virtually, there is no substitute for experience and tact, both were on full display when he introduced the specifics of my case to the court. I was not surprised during the hearing, as we spent several sessions where he outlined and described the process in preparation. In the end, my renewal was approved. I would like to thank Jason for all his help and guidance along the way. I will be utilizing his services for all my future firearm related needs.Sincerely,Paul B.I do not normally write reviews unless there are exceptional circumstances. Came to Jason for help on getting my ltc in January. Just recently got it on the 15th of September. The longest wait in the world but everything turned out alright. I’ve spoken to him only twice during the whole 8 months both calls being no less than 2-3 min. Kind of had me on edge not knowing if he’d be able to help at all. But ultimately in the end I got my 2A rights restored and I’m back on track with everything. And not for nothing the pandemic set me back a few months so I won’t fault them for that. My only complaint if that at all was to be more well informed and phone calls and emails be returned in a timely fashion. He knows what he’s doing and if you need help with anything firearm related, he’s your guy. Good luck everyone!

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueUsed Jason Guida to get my LTC. I cannot say enough good things about the experience. I attempted to apply for an LTC where I own businesses and they wouldn’t even accept my application.I was in my local gun shop with a friend and they all suggested giving Jason a call, unanimously (3 separate kiosks in the shop with independent dealers, so around 8 people). He has a reputation for only taking cases he can win and not just taking people’s money for his time if he can’t effect the outcome people are looking for.I called Jason’s office and spoke with his staff who were knowledgeable and provided a lot of insight and then he reviewed my case and said he would take me on. This was during the height of Covid and they were still answering their office phones. In my experience, he was completely direct and to the point, which is something I value. He navigated me through the entire process, always answered his email with every annoying question I had, and exceeded my expectations in every way.I can say with great confidence, without Jason’s services, I would not have secured my LTC.Jason’s service is top notch. He does criminal defense to my understanding as well, and although I hope I never need his services again, I know who my guy is if I do.Used Jason Guida to get my LTC. Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueI had an OUI conviction 1996 which in Massachusetts permanently disqualified me from owning a firearm. In 2015 I sat before the Firearm Licensing Review Board (FLRB) and petitioned to have my right to posses a firearm restored. I possessed a clean record since my 1996 incident for which I take full responsibility for. The FLRB ruled in my favor, finding that I was a suitable candidate. The town I live in then issued me a LTC. I felt so good knowing that after taking responsibility for my poor decisions as a much younger man and trying to learn from my mistakes and making good decisions, that after 20 years I was found suitable to have my 2nd amendment right restored. Well the story does not end there, in 2018 the Massachusetts Attorney General ruled that people who had their LTC issued through an FLRB ruling would no longer be recognized and that these people would no longer be able to posses a firearm or LTC. My reaction….. Noooooooooo !!!!! This cant be !!!!!! I had joined a range, purchased firearms and now I was going to be in violation of the law!!!!Attorney Jason Guida, using his extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of firearms laws was able to successfully litigate a major case in which the result meant that I would not be denied the opportunity to renew my LTC. I had been stressed out since 2018 for the day my LTC would expire and I would not be able to renew it. I did a lot of research, I can say with fair certainty that I do not think anyone without the expert knowledge that Attorney Guida posses would have been successful. I am extremely grateful for Attorney Guida and his former clients who forged the path for people in my situation to enjoy their 2nd amendment rights. Please trust me on this, if you have an issue involving a firearm license and need representation do not waste your time searching the internet. Call Attorney Guida and know that you have the best guy in the field representing you.I had an OUI conviction 1996 which in Massachusetts permanently disqualified me from owning a firearm. After having a firearm stolen and properly reporting it to the police. I got my LTC suspended. After a year and half dealing with the police I was able to get my LTC back due to the knowledge and background Jason Guida has in gun cases. The best thing I can say about Jason is that he gives you full detail of your case and likelihood of winning or losing, that your not wasting your money aimlessly. I would highly recommend Jason to anyone.

I retained Attorney Guida to prepare an initial firearms license application and couldn’t be more satisfied with his services. He thoroughly explained all my options, answered all my legal questions, and broke down the process to obtain my LTC in an easy to understand and step by step matter. With his representation and the LTC application he prepared for me, I was able to obtain my LTC-A without restrictions, in well-under the 40 days that the PD has to issue a license. His fee structure was fair and extremely reasonable and his retainer agreement clearly spelled out his scope of representation.
