Pawcatuck native and longstanding community attorney, Salvatore Ritacco, has announced his intent to serve as Probate Judge. The district covers the Towns of Groton, Ledyard, Stonington, and North Stonington. I look forward to bringing 12 years of experience to the bench, in dedication to the families in our community. I have learned a great lesson in giving — you get much more in return. Speaking of lessons learned, Paul Cravinho, a Judge of Probate for almost 25 years, a mentor and friend would often explain how a Probate Judge can effectively help everyone before them. I intend to serve as a full-time Probate Judge, for I believe it is a role that mandates attention, empathy, and focus.
