Everything that is wrong with the legal profession. While Jennifer Schooley is very professional and extremely competent, her associate Emily Talbot was not. I had to repeatedly call to get my legal representation to do what they were supposed to do. I was charged for them to listen to voice mail messages, I was charged for the time that it took for me to refresh the lawyer’s memory on next steps, I was charged for the lawyer meeting with the paralegal to refresh their memory on next steps….this experience has epitomized the reason that people hate lawyers.

In short, Jennifer Schooley is clear, thorough, intelligent, and friendly. A friend referred her to my wife and me to create our will. She helped us prepare ahead of time for our initial consultation, which was was hugely productive. Within a short time frame we had accomplished a task we’d worried over for years. Jennifer asked very specific questions; she then explained our options in clear, easy-to-understand language, walked us through every step of the process, and was quick to respond to follow-up calls and emails. Her associate Katie was also quite helpful; the two of them work very smoothly together. Jennifer was completely upfront about her (very fair) costs, so there was no confusion or surprises at any point. All in all, a true professional. Highly recommended.
