The absolute worst choice, this lawyer let an alcoholic with no driver’s license get custody of my kids after being arrested 4 time in one year. She did not defend me and she did not turn in paperwork that I submitted to her. I would absolutely stay as far away as possible! Especially if your a male in a divorce with children!

I cant ever get Stacy actually on he phone. Bad communication. She has all her secretarys and underlies do ALL her work for her and then is late to appointments. She doesn’t get that she works for you when you go to court. She will not address issues important to you and has an attitude about even having to do the bare minimum. She should just retire if this is how shes going to treat her clients.

Stacy Van Dyken is the laziest attorney in Grand Rapids Michigan. Refuses to respond and to help out children she is assigned to work with. Billing hours increase while Stacy is not following up on child abuse incidents. Stacy will string out your case for years while your children continue to get abused. Stacy is a complete waste of time and money. Stacy does not possess what is the best interest of the child along with is not a parent. Represent yourself or find any warm body with a heartbeat to represent you or your child before you waste your energy on Stacy.
