Co-Mediation
For a one time flat fee, you’ll work with two Washington attorneys. During our private session the four of us will work together to empower you to resolve your issues your way. Mediation allows both parties to feel more positive about the end of their relationship. Change is hard. In mediation, the partners can work out their differences and know that they both did their best to understand and to be fair to the other side. Most people are surprised by how much better they feel at the end of the mediation process.

Collaborative Attorneys
Collaborative Divorce
Collaborative divorce is a popular choice for spouses with complex finances or families, who need help reaching an agreement. In a collaborative divorce both spouses are represented by an attorney, however it is a private process resolved outside of court, so personal information is kept out of the public record. All four people work together to find a solution, often with the help of experts. Depending on the situation, a neutral advisor like a CPA, family therapist, or real estate agent can be brought in to help each spouse understand the issues and help them work through any roadblocks to a compromise.

Uncontested Divorce
An uncontested divorce is the ideal choice and most value for families with an agreement in mind. Your attorney will guide you through common divorce decisions like child support, parenting plans, property division and spousal maintenance. Afterwards, you’ll work with your spouse to reach a fair agreement. Once an agreement is reached, your attorney will draft the forms and help resolve any issues. This compromise driven approach makes parenting after the divorce easier and most clients are able to move forward on good terms.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueTruce Law Firm (specifically Hanna Oh and Justin) did an outstanding job as mediators. Not only were they highly knowledgeable about what needed to be done, they were empathetic and responsive to all of our needs. Hanna went above and beyond what I expected her to do to help us during a stressful situation. Not only were they very reasonable in their mediation price, they saved us about 9 months of dealing with the Pierce County legal system. The initial lawyer I dealt with, not part of Truce, wanted thousands of dollars more and told me he wanted to take it all the way to court, when it really didn’t need to be. My former spouse and I were able to maturely work out many of the community property issues ourselves, despite having an initial attorney who didn’t want me to talk to her. Both my former spouse and I were able to reach a compromise on all major aspects and the advice we received from Hanna was right on track. I would highly recommend their services before hiring a big, expensive, and sometimes provoking legal firm to handle your case.My advice is, despite the pain you may be feeling over ending your marriage, make an honest attempt to both agree on how to divide your assets and move on with your life. A long, vindictive divorce will only benefit the legal firm. Call Truce Mediation first and see what they can do to help you. My prediction is that they will be able to compassionately help you, saving time and a lot of money. I am writing this recommendation on my own free will and want to help others who can find a better solution and not having to go to court. Hanna receives 5 stars! I rarely give anyone more than 4 stars, as I am a retired military officer and rarely give an outstanding recommendation such as this.Truce Law Firm (specifically Hanna Oh and Justin) did an outstanding job as mediators. Justin at Truce Law was so amazing through my divorce experience, It was challenging at times considering my spouse was incarcerated, but that was only because I was waiting on the jail and the notary department at the jail, but Justin was there walking me through every step of the way. Always willing and able to answer any questions I had, which was a lot!! I even remembered he answered my email on a Sunday. I would and have recommended Justin to anyone looking for an attorney who actually cares about his clients satisfaction. And thanks to Justin I am officially Divorced.
