Don’t seem as interested as I would of hoped they would be regarding bad faith insurance practices. I visited the website, talked with them on several occasions, filled out their forms regarding my fiancee M.V.A. This accident broke her back, contributed to a already serious situation with her health, tremendous pain and, caused a complete dysfunction of life as well as mine. It appears that if your not married, the loss should not bother you. The insurance adjuster was so unethical, once she died, they fired him, the attorney from Park and Gordon who asked for 200,000 quit without reason, all of this as time ran out for the 3 year clause. That’s absolutely B.S.

Should have called before heading to the AG’s office so please make an appointment. Absolutely my bad!! They have a reception which is excellently operated and even though I was unable to see someone the young man was outstanding even after my weeping which I am sure only made him feel bad. I am sorry but thank you for being so kind. People! If you are going to Seattle for anything parking is hideous but the building the AG is in has parking which was safe. Also remember you are downtown and stay aware of your surroundings.

They pretend that they are helping but they are not. Any time if there is a consumer protection issue – they simply forward your complaint to the business. Now if business response is totally illogical or useless – they don’t even look into the response and simply want to close the issue “stating that we cannot act as a private attorney”. So they are good for nothing. They should ideally be replaced by a IT system which converts online email to print/online complaint and send to the business as mentioned in the address. I have no idea why state of Washington is wasting money to hire any human beings for the consumer complaints department. They could save a lot of $$$ by having a simple IT system to do this work. I will say to consumers – don’t waste your time and money with them.

I was using Verizon as my cell carrier when I was told in the store I could trade in an iphone and get $400 off. I said several times I did not want a contract. I was told I didn’t need a contract. I did the trade in and bought the phone. When I decided to go with another provider, a year later, I was told I would have to pay the $400 back because we had an agreement, which Verizon said was not a contract. Verizon also charged me a month and a half service charge after I canceled. After months of going through the Better Business Bureau, I received the month and a half service Verizon over charged me but not the $400. So I went to the Attorney General to have this documented and soon after Verizon paid me the $400.

Under this man Washington courts and laws protect Child Molesters and abusers. My wife and 4 children spent years trying to get her ex husband to stop abusing them. Multiple police reports, custody battles, we even hired a GAL Meredith Gerhardt which did nothing more than talk to us than ignored the counselors, police reports, teachers or anything that would have proved this case. With the pile of evidence and letters insisting that these children get no more time with their abusive father, the courts ignored it and gave him what he wanted. We were left with no choice but to flee with them hoping to make a statement and to open someones eyes. It didnt… they ordered the kids back and gave them to the father and my wife now faces criminal charges for protecting the children. Isnt this how america works now. protect the child molester and make the people who protect them criminal. Well this man and a few others can protect them but choose not to. These are a few statements made by the kids. They go ignored so abuse can go on.

To start with why have the attorney general’s office if they have a huge list of issues they don’t deal with which happens to be 3/4 of why people contact the attorney general. There’s no help anywhere these days, they get grant money to help and pocket the money
