Ms. Wasznicky and her staff helped me navigate through a treacherous divorce. There were many times I felt like so much was not “right” or “fair”. Diane was able to validate my frustrations and educate me on the law without dismissing my emotions. We had multiple court dates and every single time I came out with what I had hoped for, and several times even more. I pray no one has to endure what I did but to know you have the best of the best behind you is the only thing you can do as you navigate through multiple issues under family law.

Positive: Professionalism, QualityFamily law is extremely unpredictable and should always be a last resort. I would avoid it if you can, however, that is not always possible. I was being brought into court on bogus accusations for several years, with the courts taking no action against the other party causing this.Diane was extremely clear in her plan to request a 730 evaluation. She understood the complexity of my case as it had gone on for about 9 years already at the point of our meeting, and knew which professionals to work with to have this situation understood, fully.Diane is honest to a point that will offend some, but this is truly her biggest asset. She will tell you directly what it is that you need to hear, possible outcomes, and what you may be doing wrong in some cases. She understands the characters involved on both sides, ie the attorneys, judges, evaluators, and all their differing personalities.I was able to get the correct outcome, resulting from two separate evaluations over several years. Diane’s shrewdness and skill are what allowed us to both make a plan and execute it clearly, and with extremely favorable results. Critical: ProfessionalismDiane Wasznicky is opposing lawyer. Her firms name divorce with respect is misleading. She send emails written with unprofessional language. She threatened me with ex-parte actions in emails. She increased the tension between me and my ex-wife which is terrible for our 4 year old child. She made several defamatory and incorrect statements against me in front of the court proceedings for which I am going to hold her accountable. Diane Wasznicky is opposing lawyer. Her firms name divorce with respect is misleading. She send emails written with unprofessional language. She threatened me with ex-parte actions in emails. She increased the tension between me and my ex-wife which is terrible for our 4 year old child. After filing for the divorce, we learned about a Pre-marital agreement (PMA), which altered our negotiating strategy somewhat. Diane made the necessary adjustments and demonstrated flexibility. She negotiated spousal support, which resulted in a good outcome. She also negotiated access to a life insurance policy, which would not have been available under the terms of the PMA.Throughout this process, we appreciated that Diane was responsive and accessible. If there was something she wasn’t sure about she had no problem telling me she would talk to Hal for his opinion. She also worked well with my other (non family type) attorneys.
