My family hired Mr. Boller to investigate my sisters-in-laws death at an assisted living facility. He was honest, direct and communicated every step of the investigation, the demand to the insurance company and resolved our case without going to court. He regularly met with our large family at my Mother-in-laws farm outside of Madison. While nothing will bring our sister back, we know Boller & Vaughan held the CBRF accountable for their negligence and the harm they caused. Matthew’s expertise in assisted living and cases was obvious from day one and his compassion for our family was very real and appreciated.

My family hired Mr. Boller and his firm to investigate the death of my grandmother at a Wisconsin CBRF, also known as an assisted living facility. He was straight forward, relentless and incredibly complete in his investigations and recommendations once he was finished. He was able to get the insurance company to settle our families claim without suing them. The large settlement will not bring my grandmother back, but we feel Mr. Boller held the corporate, assisted living company accountable for my grandmother’s death and her pain and suffering. Mr. Boller and his staff are “The Experts” in exposing elder abuse and neglect.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ResponsivenessSo, if you sign on with Michelle Vaughn, here’s what you can expect:1.) You cannot call or email the attorney directly, at any time, for anything. Your only option is to email the paralegal and wait for her to get back to you.2.) They will literally go for months without updating you on your case, even if you ask for updates.3.) They will not aggressively go after witnesses or try to gather information (at least, with my case, it sure seemed that way).4.) Then a YEAR later, they will send you a letter telling you that they are dropping your case, and – oh, by the way – you’d best hurry to find another attorney as there is a statute of limitations on your case (of which they’ve just wasted a year). These people are horrible. Don’t waste precious time thinking they are going to help you like I did. If I could sue THEM, I would. So, if you sign on with Michelle Vaughn, here’s what you can expect:1.) Michelle Vaughan worked on our traffic accident case for over a year. She and her paraprofessional Mary were always helpful and compassionate, listening to our concerns and keeping us informed on the progress of our case. It was a very difficult time for both my husband and myself and having Michelle’s support and expertise helped to get us through the trauma. We were pleased with the settlement.

I was in a serious automobile accident and met with Michele a few weeks later. When we met I informed her the the other driver was at fault and did not have insurance. We spoke about suing him for his personal property which she agreed to do. My first medical bill for one week was $92,400. In the end she went to my Insurance company to get my uninsured/ under insured amount of $50,000 of which my medical insurance received 1/3, the Lawyer received 1/3 and I received 1/3, $16,666 each. After I received my check, I found out that there was still a medical judgement against me for approximately $8,000. I informed the law office of this and was told there was nothing they could do, and for me to take care of it. Later I learned that it is unlawful to disperse funds without settling all things to do with the accident. Also, I found that I could have brought the bill to my Insurance company and collected the $50,000 myself and not have to pay a lawyer fee, which several other lawyers after the fact said they would have told me to do rather than taking the money from me! I lost my job and cannot return to doing the same type of work, have chronic severe pain and am very limited to what I can do physically. In fact, another lawyer who suggested that I could easily file a malpractice lawsuit, if I could find a lawyer who actually does malpractice.

I was looking for an attorney with morals to help with my accident case. Not looking to “cash in”, just wanting to make sure we approached it the right way that protected me. Michele Vaughan was highly professional and just what I was looking for. Thanks Michele.
