I first met Rachel when I was filing a petition to modify my alimony in another County in Florida. My original attorney decided to leave the firm in the middle of my case. In steps Rachel! She quickly came up to speed on my case and laid out a win strategy just prior to mediation. As predicted, mediation was a waste of time. You can’t mediate with an unreasonable person. Rachel prepared our case before the judge and it was brilliant. In the end Rachel proved my case before the court that there was no need for alimony. The Judge, having never seen her in his courtroom before was very impressed with with her skill and professionalism as an attorney and stated so. At the Judges request, Rachel wrote every word but two for the final order the Judge used. He changed “no need” to “very little need. My alimony was reduced by 1000.00 dollars a month. The 500.00 a month I still pay hurts, but that was the Judges decision. Rachel proved our case. I’m hoping to get the remaining amount removed when I retire. You can bet, I’ll be using Rachel!
