Critical: Professionalism, ResponsivenessI hired Joe Borsberry to handle my divorce and custody case. During the first few months I rarely heard from Joe. Sometimes I’d hear from his paralegal who to her credit seemed nice enough. Communication with them was a nightmare. To get a phone call could mean waiting days for Joe to be available. Emails were hard to understand and often didn’t address all of my questions.The final straw came when Joe had a status hearing with the opposing attorney and I couldn’t get an update on the call. I sent multiple emails asking for an update, several emails with other questions, and never heard back – for weeks. Even after multiple follow ups. Going through a divorce is difficult enough but it’s back breaking when you have no idea what is going on with your case and feel like the people you hired don’t have your back. The bills sure came on time though!After enough frustration I fired Joe and hired an attorney that I couldn’t be more happy with. Emails and calls are returned promptly. I understand every aspect of where my case is at. Crazy, right?I wasn’t going to even bother with a review but now I’m getting shook down for one last payment. A bill for the time it took for them to fill out the paperwork to FIRE him. The check’s in the mail now, thanks for nothing!If you are a husband or wife contemplating divorce PLEASE do yourself a favor and take this review and the others to heart. Being an unwed father who adored and cared for his son, and a mom who just packed up and left the state one phone call to Joe @ Borsberry Law was all it took to have my voice heard. It started from a recommendation from a local judge and a visit to Joe’s website borsberrylaw.com to get started. Joe, contacted me personally within 30 min. of visiting his sight and listened for an hour to my case. Within 3 days we had an order for child not to leave the state. It was a long 18 months after that but I am now the custodial parent and my boy is happy and growing by leaps and bounds. Thank you so much to Borsberry Law because I believe now my son has a better chance of growing and succeeding in life.
