Messed up my sister’s title transfer by recording the wrong odometer reading. When trying to get assistance to remedy this error (as required by PennDOT), was of absolutely no help and even worse was incredibly rude. Attempted to tell us what PennDOT needed when we were AT PennDOT being told the exact opposite. Drive a bit farther to find a notary somewhere else and save yourself the hassle of dealing with this business.

This is the worst Notary in the Allegheny Valley. I took a title to them to have transferred in August, 2013. I was charged $168.00 by Burrell Notary. Unbeknownst to me, the Notary working there defaced the title and 8 weeks later I get all the paperwork back from the State of PA in the mail stating that I have to re-file for a duplicate title, that the plate was no good and that I had to surrender it or be arrested. By that time, it was now Thanksgiving and I still could not drive the vehicle on the roads. I contacted Burrell Notary and was informed that they would file for a new title on my behalf (because they ‘messed-up’. Supposedly, Burrell Notary filed for a replacement title 2 days before Thanksgiving. After waiting for another 3 weeks (it’s now the week before Christmas) and not hearing from either the PennDot nor Burrell Notary, I contacted PennDot, and was told that Burrell Notary had not filed for a replacement title. So…not only did Burrell Notary screw up the title processing, they stole $186.00 in fees from me, that have to pay again, for a truck that’s been sitting since August…that I can’t drive/use…because the people who run Burrell Notary are both Dishonest and out-right Liars. Stay away from Burrell Notary: The are incompetent CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!! I have all the paperwork to prove what I’ve posted…and I intend to sue them!
