Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ResponsivenessScheduled a consultation with Katherine. Her 1st availability was 3 weeks out. I arrived 15 mins prior to our scheduled meeting. Her assistant came out to inform me that she required prepayment and he had emailed a link. I explained I had not received an email and I was happy to pay at this time. He said she had other things scheduled and he had sent two follow up emails. I asked if he had my phone number and he said he did. I asked if it may have occurred to him that he had written down my email address incorrectly and a simple phone call would worked.He had no reply and only asked that I write down the correct email. I explained that I had waited 3 weeks for this appt and had a full calendar and travel plans. Frustrated I asked when her next available appt was. He said he would look and left the room. I left after 15 mins without him returning. I have worked with many attorneys prior to my retirement in construction/development. Burt and Langley leave a lot to be desired. At $350 hourly rate I expected a professional approach. Apparently they have history of not being paid for the services and are adamant about prepayment.In addition, Katherine’s partner came out as we ( my special needs son and I) entered the office. My first impression was arrogance and a lack of social skills. I waited 3 weeks to see an attorney that was highly recommended.
