After interviewing several other attorneys I retained Kevin Childers based upon his experience, candor, reputation, and sincerity. Kevin does not always tell you what you “want” to hear; Instead, he tells you what you “need” to hear. I hope that I never need an attorney for litigation, but if so, I will ensure that Kevin is leading my team. I really (I mean REALLY) liked Kevin’s is experienced behind the bar, and that he was not exclusively focused on settling out-of-court 100% of the time. My particular case was negotiated out-of-court, but I am positive that Kevin’s reputation for pursuing the case in front of a judge significantly influenced the final settlement. Bottom line here is that you don’t want Kevin as your opposing counsel. So, if that’s true… then the only other options are to either avoid litigation…. or retain him as your own counsel. I was involved in a car accident with a Fairfax County car March 2020 at the start of COVID lockdown and I needed medical treatment. The Fairfax driver was cited for inattentive driving. Fairfax County declared Sovereign Immunity and absolved themselves of any responsibilities. That didn’t stop Mr. Childers from fighting the case for me. My case was sent to my insurance company under (Fairfax County) as an uninsured motorist. I had an offer from the insurance company and Mr. Childers went back and got quite a bit more in recovery. The case was settled in March 2022, Two years of Mr. Childers fighting and never giving up. Mr. Childers will never give up and fight for his clients. I was so thankful I selected Mr. Childers to represent me. And his staff is so responsive and friendly. An awesome law firm.
