Poor customer service after initial gain and no initiative. They weren’t rude to me but very passive aggressive. For the last few weeks I’ve been calling once, twice or three times a week for the same reason, a status update: “Have my documents been mailed to the address that I provided you?” Everytime I call same story. They ask me to spell my name and they ask for my phone number so that they can contact me. I provide this information but no one calls. Why? I’m your client, I thought. So now I have to do their job again and call the courts to get paperwork that they should be sending to me. I say again because they had me go to the court house to file the docs myself. I’m not In the states so it only makes things harder. I truly regret working with these people. I payed all my fees with them in advance so no issue there. I’m not a rude or disagreeable person so no issue there. I just don’t get it.

I found them to be weak at representation and it was also strange that they were not giving me advice on the divorce decree parameters, like they wanted to avoid me later saying that they mislead me. I am an attorney but not a divorce attorney so I really needed advice or at least some discussion. My divorce was a long time ago, so maybe this aspect of their practice has evolved; or maybe not.

Positive: Professionalism, QualityVery knowledgeable and professional. Yes, they are expensive but not any more expensive than other firms at their level. Unfortunately my case went to court and I was informed of the charges well in advance. My attorney did try to avoid court and save me the expense but it was unavoidable.

DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM!!!! Robert “bob” young it’s horrible! This law firm is terrible! Bob Young and this law firm will try anyway to take your hard earned money from you! They will charge you hundreds of dollars to even ask to see a copy of your bill, speak to him on the phone or speak to the receptionist! After my case was finished with bob he wouldn’t even call me back to discuss charges that we never discussed during are first meeting. Robert Young was nice in my initial meeting with him but after that he was rude, didn’t even try to listen to me when I was trying to tell him important information about my case, unprofessional and just money hungry. Didn’t even know basic laws and I pretty much did all the work before and in court. I was in a terrible situation and I came to this law firm to get help and all they did was become another person who screwed me over! PLEASE DO NOT use this law firm for any legal matter!!! I wish someone had a review like this before I went to them. If I could leave -5 stars I would.

Robert Young did a poor job with my divorce. At $260 per hour, I was being charged hundreds of dollars just for him to read and respond to any email communication I had with him. And at the end of it all, I never got any of the money that was due to me from my ex. I am very very dissatisfied at how ineffective he was. I’m really not happy that I paid almost $10,000 and have nothing to show for it.
