Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueBeware!!!! Hired to write Wills and Trust for myself and my husband. Paid 1500.00 when we sat down to answer questions. No return phone calls no return emails for 4 months. I then filed a grievance with the Bar Association, that prompted a call to meet him at his office he hands me a thumbdrive and says everything is on this. Open the drive and it is the Wills of somebody else!!!! No return call or return email to date! Beware!!!! Hired to write Wills and Trust for myself and my husband. Paid 1500.00 when we sat down to answer questions. No return phone calls no return emails for 4 months. I then filed a grievance with the Bar Association, that prompted a call to meet him at his office he hands me a thumbdrive and says everything is on this. After meeting with him and hiring him I paid over $1,000 for the retainer. As the years went on and on, he just kept filing for extensions in the case. At one hearing even the judge questioned why it was taking him so long and told him that he filed the wrong paperwork. After four years, he when up and missing. Refused to take phone calls. Never in the office as I stopped by many times. Certified mail would get kicked back to me after a couple of weeks of him not accepting it. Fannin has NO idea what he is doing. Now I am out figuring out what mess he left behind. After meeting with him and hiring him I paid over $1,000 for the retainer. As the years went on and on, he just kept filing for extensions in the case. We ended up agreeing to a dissolution and signed all the paperwork in Steve’s office. Steve called and told me everything had been filed with the courts. In Feb of 2020 by ex backed out of the dissolution and I told Steve to continue with the divorce. A year later Steve had done nothing and I was even in contempt of court for him not filing paperwork that was needed to be filed. I spoke with others lawyers who told me the dissolution paperwork had never even been filed. He LITERLY did not one thing. I hired a new lawyer and went to his office to get my file. He gave me a file with SOME of my paperwork in it and also included other clients paperwork. My new lawyer has contacted him several times to get my file and he refuses to give paperwork I provided and paid for myself. I have tried emailing and calling to get this and demanded a refund. He refuses to even respond. Almost 3k down the drain for nothing but alot more work for my new lawyer. I hired Steve in Oct/Nov of 2019. He was paid to do my divorce. We ended up agreeing to a dissolution and signed all the paperwork in Steve’s office. Steve called and told me everything had been filed with the courts. In Feb of 2020 by ex backed out of the dissolution and I told Steve to continue with the divorce.
