Child Custody
Child custody refers to the rights and obligations between parents, regarding their children, after a divorce, legal separation, or paternity decree. There are two independent types of custody. Physical custody refers to the amount of time each parent is permitted physically with a child. This may b
Child Support
Regardless of your fight to gain custody of your children, child support will be an issue in your case. You will either be paying it or receiving it. Courts have little discretion in setting the amount of child support to be paid. This is because, as a condition of receiving federal aid, the states
Contempt Proceedings
Contempt can only come into play after a court has issued judgments, orders or decrees to govern the behavior of the parents, which it can do at any point during the divorce proceedings. Once a court has issued such decrees, it is important for you to observe them to the best of your ability and, at
Establishing Paternity in a Divorce or Child Support Case
When the parents of a child are not married at the beginning of the pregnancy or at the birth of the child, the father is legally without the rights and responsibilities of a parent. Power of Attorney
Sending your child off to college is an exciting experience, but it also brings a lot of stress. As a divorced parent, you have enough to worry about without being concerned about having access to your son or daughter’s educational, medical, financial, and other critical information.
Property Division and Asset Division
Every marriage has at least one topic in common – property. Whether they own a million-dollar mansion or a beat-up RV, a couple will always have to divide up the property and debt. Certain assets remain the exclusive property of one of the marriage partners, even after marriage, and some will be div
Protection Order
Protection orders are unfortunately common in family law cases and are often used for strategic reasons. The misuse of a protection order when going through a divorce is one of the more prevalent and unfortunate trends in family law. A system that was designed to protect against abuse is itself bein

Reviews & Complaints

Jameson Hoffman
Chris Hudak gave me misinformation and then made it out as if it was my fault there was confusion. From then I lost my trust in him to defend me. His goal seemed to be to settle and let my rights be taken away at every turn rather than defending my rights and owning up to his mistake. His “efforts” only seemed to make things worse or more complicated and made things that much more frustrating on my end and it appeared that I was doing all the actual work.
