Dan Rothman is the most knowledgeable and attentive Attorney I have ever dealt with. If you’re in need of a Criminal Defense (especially OWI) Attorney, then look no further. Dan was very thorough in both his explanations and executions as it pertained to my case. He is also very well known and respected within the Iowa Judicial community, which is invaluable when it comes to navigating the rough waters of a criminal case. He always kept me informed in a timely manner and was very patient in responding to my questions or concerns. He doesn’t make promises he can’t keep, he simply DELIVERS. There are plenty of “plea lawyers” out there who will take your money and leave you with long-term regret, but Dan is NOT one of them. Simply put, when you are in legal trouble, you want the best defense you can possibly get. That said, Dan Rothman is the best around these parts – bar none.

I ran into a legal matter that could have had serious repercussions. I spoke to a few lawyers who were very unpersonable with a “here is the minimum sentencing and best solution you’ll find. No need for any further work or details. You’re welcome.” He not only got a lower offense with a much less severe sentencing, but I never once had to appear in court or miss work. Daniel is an extremely talented attorney. He will look for anything he can to get you out of trouble. He looks for any possible mistake the law enforcement officer could have made and use it against them. I wouldn’t recommend any other attorney other than him!

Although, we may not win this case because it is my 2nd offense with an OWI. I know within my heart that Dan has and is doing everything he can to make sure that things work out for the best. He is what we call a fighting champion in the sports business. He may not win every case, but he never goes down without a well-fought argument. There’s an old saying “you can take the dog out of the fight, but you can’t take the fight out of the dog”. He will fight until there’s nothing else he can do. He will help make sure you keep your “driving privileges” for awhile until the court has made their decision. He will also stay in constant contact with you, when he needs to. But please keep in mind that Dan is a busy man, so that whenever you send an email to him or call him, keep it short, simple, and directly to the point. He is a great person with a caring heart and passion for what he does. He knows the law well and he will do whatever it takes to help you out. When you decide to choose him for whatever reason, do him a big favor and make things easy for him by staying in contact with him, getting papers signed when they need to be signed, and being as honest and truthful with him as possible.
