I only put 1 star because you have to. It should be 0 stars! Do not use this service! It is a scam. I should’ve known from our 1st appointment in which he showed up late for. Paid this guy to handle a simple expungement in October of 2017. It’s now November 2018 and I haven’t heard from this guy since he took my money. I have no proof of him doing what I paid him to do. I’ve called the office repeatedly and I get the runaround from some unprofessional person posing as a receptionist. Tried the office again this morning and evidently “Douglas Mitchell” changed his number because the person I reached had nothing to do with legal services. I’ll be filing a claim with the BBB as well as a grievance with the board. This is far from over.

Met with this man as an alternate attorney after another attorney was unable to handle my case. After transfer of attorney fees and paying an additional $1,000.00 my case was taken on. I received minimal contact from him during this time, I called, text and they went unanswered. After many attempts to speak with him I received a text, however over many months and a year and a half i haven’t received any legal help after paying all of my fees. So I say all this to say, Douglass Mitchell is a horrible attorney and will not fulfill his obligation to you as a client. I hope he is disbarred from practicing law, sooner than later.
