I hired Lydia for a child custody case, paid for my retainer in full. Worked with her for months. Although she is a very nice girl she wasn’t tough enough to fight my case. An agreement was set up that I was not happy with and was about to settle with since she said “this is how it has to be. We can’t get what you want and the judge won’t agree to what you’re asking for.” My gut said to find another attorney. Once I did the new attorney not only got what I asked for but told me that the information I was given from her was incorrect. It was devastating to know that and to top it all off? They charged me $335.00 just to email me my case documents that Lydia previously worked on so I could forward them to the new one. Very disheartening the advantage that was taken during a stressful time in my life.
