All financial advisors are NOT created equally. I didn’t realize what a difference it would make to have my money managed by someone who truly understands the business and who truly cares. Before Jacob, my money was managed by a typical generic advisor who hadn’t checked in with me in years. Initially I entrusted only a portion of my assets to Jacob mostly because the fees were substantially less than the other firm/advisor I was using. However, during the recent downturn, I was down about 7% across the board with all my assets. All of them except the portion I entrusted to Jacob. Somehow Jacob was up 8% during a horrific downturn. Naturally, I transferred the rest of my assets to my account that he manages and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made.
