The food isn’t getting a 1 star it’s Customer Service. I placed an order, got it in a timely manner but one of the Boiling Bacons had a hole in the shrink wrap so I didn’t want to cook that pack due to being in the mail for 3 days. I called Food Ireland to get a replacement. They said they couldn’t replace it unless I ordered and paid for another 2lb pack of the bacon. I don’t need 6 lbs of the bacon so I asked if they could comp me another 2lb pack so they could send my one. They said no, you have to pay for the second one or you can take a refund. I have ordered from Food Ireland for years and I’m disappointed that they wouldn’t work with me on this. They have lost a loyal customer. It is unbelievable to me that I received damaged product and they were completely unwilling to replace the item. I took the refund but now I only have 2lbs of bacon for my party on Saturday. Not enough….

I LOVED everything I ordered. There is plenty to last several months. I have to say the black and white pudding are my favorite. The bacon and sausages were also delicious. I should have ordered more Brennan’s Soda Bread. Thanks Food Ireland! You will now be my number 1 source of Irish goodies.

Received my order as promised. The quality of the products are second to none. Love shopping with Food Ireland, brings me back to Dublin City even though it is for a short time. Food is wonderful, service is grand, price easy to handle. This will make a lovely Christmas breakfast this year.

Everything arrived in time but after a few days in freezer the bangers had frost inside the package. The shrink wrap was not very tight. Other than that, everything looks great.

I am very disappointed with the condition of the food when it arrived at my home, in the 1st box was 4lb of boiling bacon, which was half thawed and 2nd box was super value Irish breakfast which was completely thawed. I opened immediately as I was home at time of delivery, so no excuse.

I have ordered here before and have been pleased. I recently ordered on my mobile phone and the food arrived with the dates expired. I honestly thought it was a mistake and a quick phone call would put it right. I rang and was told I ordered from the discount section. I did not know this as it does not say so on mobile. I did not expect to be told it was my own fault. Who orders expired food? I spoke to the owner eventually and she refunded me. I would not have written this review except I went to the reviews section only to see many people write the same thing about being told it is their own fault. Who lets such a terrible customer service rep do this regularly? The lady has no business in customer service and I would hazard a guess that the girl is related to the owners or she would have been fired long ago. Order the food but pray there is nothing wrong with it.
