Galen represented me in a personal injury case several years ago. I was injured in an auto accident where an individual ran a red light (and denied it) and I struck her vehicle. Galen was referred to me by a friend. I was very reluctant to seek an attorney as I thought I had no chance at proving the other driver was at fault. Galen took the time to listen to my story and gave me his honest, professional opinion on what he thought we could accomplish. It had been over a year since the accident occurred and I did not think I still had the ability to try to collect for my damages. I had undergone two surgeries on my ankle which left me with a fused ankle. This was a huge adjustment for me as I could not run and workout like I used to. I was an avid runner that often took part in 5k events. I was also unable to do several activities with my young daughter because my ankle would always hurt. Not only that, my daughter had to help me throughout my two surgeries. I wanted justice for her! After speaking with Galen I felt at ease and I knew he was going to do everything he could to assist my daughter and I. Galen and his paralegal really did all the work. I simply had to sign releases that would allow them to request my medical bills and records. Galen also knew what the other party may request from me so he ensured that we had everything prepared even before they requested it. Galen’s team went to the accident site and recreated the accident. In doing this, they noted inconsistencies in the other party’s story and this allowed them to create a strong case. Galen was very responsive throughout the process and would always get back to me quickly. At the deposition, Galen was my cheerleader and made me feel calm. I remember him telling me that I just needed to tell my story and stick to the facts. That is exactly what I did and I ended up winning my case!
