A amazing experience, I was given a second chance on a class C felony. Markus seemed very adamant on getting the best proposal from the DA that would be most beneficial for me and my work schedule. As it was a pretrial charge, it wasn’t the expectation that there would be a resolution, but he wasn’t able to gather ANY information. Was told to “just turn in” and then wait for the next step and then wanted to charge another 4500-7500. Decided to move forward with another lawyer to provided more direction, communication, and advice before even retaining him. Gunn did not boost confidence, and honestly feel like he was going to let the courts just run its course. I’ve been using Gunn and Gunn for several years now for both business and personal legal issues. In my experience, Marc ( with whom I normally consult) has been more than generous with his time and excellent in his praparation and execution. He has pursued a number of disparate issues on my behalf from copyright infringement to land use laws to runins with US Fish and Wildlife and I have been impressed in each case with his efficiency, sound counsel and very reasonable rates. Critical: Quality, ValueI contacted mr. Gunn regarding a misdemeanor case. I told him the facts of the case before hand in which he assured me it she be an easy case to win. I had a warrant out for my arrest because I had moved and never received a letter to recieve in court. He also assured me he could get the warrant removed. I paid him a very large retaine fee. The only thing he did was schedule a date for the first appearance in court, that’s it. After receiving an email saying he couldn’t get the warrant dropped and couldn’t get m.j y charges dropped I decided would just go with a public attorney. I called to cancel my services with him and to receive a partial refund. It clearly states in the paperwork he provided back to me that he does gives refunds if we don’t fo to court which we didn’t, he would just charge around 350-375$ an hour for time he worked. So apparently Mr. Gun spent over 6 hours filing this court date for me because that’s technically all he did. So yes I just threw away 2 grand over something a public defender or even myself couldve done, t h.c ank you for your hard work Mr.Gunn.I contacted mr. Gunn regarding a misdemeanor case.
