Just got back from a 3 day tour. The guide (Mary D.) and driver (Adam) were excellent. Both seemed to care about all of the details involved. When we misplaced a clothing item, Mary took it upon herself to contact the destination we had just left to inquire about it. Stories were good, information was timely, salient and correct. They really cared about your experience. Highly recommend this company and them personally.

Terrible service and always late compared to schedule. If you are using the bus from this stop in the weekend bank on average 30 minutes of delay. Their normal line uses old and discomforting buses which are often overcrowded. Definitely not worth the price.

I remember those days when you were getting coffee and a muffin on a morning Jitney. Those days are long gone But hey if you need to get to the city from the Hamptons it’s still a pretty convenient way

Shout-out to Manny & Julia for dealing with an incredibly volatile (to put it mildly) passenger with class & grace!

Seats are comfortable and the Jitney runs very regularly from Manhattan to the East end of Long Island.

They do the best job. But it’s still a bus into the city, with all that goes with that. Grid and Lock anyone?

Easy way to travel directly to the Hamptons. I prefer the Jitney to the train because you have to change trains.

Convenient but late buses and no line management also an update to booking system would be much appreciated.

Arrived 2 minutes late and the bus was already gone. Emailed customer service and they refused to issue any sort of refund. It is quite peculiar that a private bus company would have such an unrelenting policy. I usually prefer the railroad anyway because the jitney is nausea inducing with uncomfortable seats. The extra star is for the free water. Will not be using this service again.

Near no covid safe procedures.Took the Ambassador (luxury version of the jitney) into Manhattan from the Hamptons. Every seat was full. Absolutely no effort to socially distance. Make sure you pay the extra 7 dollars to choose your own seat, and choose a single seat… otherwise, you’ll be sitting right next to someone which nothing more than a tiny plastic divider (covering no more than half of your head/face) between you. Also, bus seemed dirty. There was garbage in the seat back pocket at my seat… god knows who left it there. Would not consider riding the jitney again until long after covid goes away. NOT SAFE!

This bus transportation is amazing. Always clean, has reservations so you’re guaranteed a seat, they give you water and snacks on your trip. Incredibly convenient to and from NYC to the Hamptons and they also have long trips to other places like Boston (I think). Really comfortable bus, has a bathroom. Also, great customer service & they give you a deal if you prepay. Would 100% recommend

Great Ride to the city. 50% the buses ( in my trips) the restroom doors open and the smell is not good. They need fix them. A magnetic or a lock outside can help a lot of.

8.2.2019 won’t sell you a ticket before boarding, they can, but they WON’T. so I called to buy a ticket over the phone but since I don’t have an account the lady on the phone just hung up on me(OLD)How to make commute bus service compicated. Just ask these guys. Some things are just better when they are simple. I don’t like it, I just have to use it, when there is NOT much else around. And if you loose an item on the bus, don’t bother calling anyone, or leaving your number, or waiting for the person you spoke to to call you back.

Amazing service and great people! My friend and I were running 2 minutes behind, we called the front desk. They didn’t make any promises but contacted the driver with our information. The driver waited 5 minutes for us and was glad we called ahead! Thank you so much for an amazing start to our trip out East.Side note, the snacks and service were AMAZING!

This was a crowded bus ride, unlike the Ambassador, l boarded at 1st stop but moved to accommodate a young lady who refused to sit w/ a stranger, in seat her adult companion assigned. No big deal, but they went on to complain about that seat, becuz there was an uncovered light! Anywho, the ride was soon more comfortable; quieter & less congested. I’ll still ride becuz of cost$ & The driver, & bus aide were very friendly & polite!

Provides EXCELLENT bus service to/from the Hamptons and are typically very accommodating with oversized baggage – staff are great and friendly. However, we were very disappointed to see that the Jitney still insists on offering snacks and small water bottles…in plastic. Unless the company is entirely tone deaf to the changing times and the increasing focus on environmental awareness, I can’t imagine why they won’t work to minimize their trash impact.

Worst experience ever. I was in the hamptons and i had some work in the city so i book a ticket with them in advance. The AC in the bus was not working and there was some strange bus attendant who was collecting the tickets and money from the passengers. He had some problem finding mine and i had to show him everthing i have done online so he can see that i have booked my ticket online. He really didn`t care about the AC and form the company they didn`t do anything to ????

During peak season, a pre-paid reservation doesn’t guarantee a seat. Service is consistently poor. Fairs keep increasing over the years. The busses are in disrepair. Take an uber or the LIRR if you can.

Honestly it’s not the best ride like it used to be. However, it’s a lot more convenient to travel on the Jitney when you’re carrying a lot of luggage. The last two experiences have been terrible and I ride the Jitney weekly. I was harassed and elbowed in the ribcage by another passenger over and over again but there were no seats available. They need to have a better policy even with the elderly to not allow them to put purses on the arm rests. The Jitney smelled like the bathroom the entire ride so much so that my hair and clothing stayed smelling even after I got off. My last experience the bus broke down and we needed to transfer and reroute to Manorville before getting to the Airport connections in the city. It’s unfortunate that I will have to spend more money on the Ambassador just to avoid getting harassed or injured by another passenger again. Or somehow Start taking the LIRR. Very disappointed by the Jitney lately.
