Critical: ProfessionalismI called this office to verify some information regarding a title search against my deceased mother’s property that listed the attorney for the plaintiff as Sarah Blake. I talked to two people, a receptionist and strangely, someone from Collections (she didn’t identify herself when she answered). I understand being businesslike and matter-of-fact, but you can do so without being rude. My call lasted less than two minutes, but in that time it was made clear to me that she was NOT interested in helping me and that she clearly had no empathy for my situation. When I asked how I could get a document to support what she was telling me over the phone to give to my buyer, she literally said, ‘I don’t know and I can’t help you with that’. I can imagine that the lawyers for this office would be embarrassed if they knew how their staff were treating people that call in.
