She gave me tax advice that no other tax prepper has told me to do over the years I have been coming. Once I left I immediately sent an email to my HR department at work to get on this advice and put it into effect. The lack of updated knowledge of the H and R block staff regarding recent IRS policies. They actually filed my tax late in the year 2020, in September even when I filed with them in March which caused me to pay 256 dollars extra to the IRS as a penalty. This year they had no idea about the substantial presence test for J1 physicians and filed me as a nonresident alien instead of a resident for tax purposes making me lose thousands. Above the lack of courtesy to acknowledge that they made a mistake. I will not refer H and R block and in fact will suggest against it to my peers and colleagues.
