I am 39 years old and have used H&R Block since my first job when I turned 16. That is 23 years, I have used this company. I was told today I would need to pay 15$ for a copy of last years return. I have never asked for copies before and was a little surprised by the cost and when I said can that be waved for a long time customer that was a hard NO. I too would like to see some loyalty benefits. The fee that is paid by customers is not a cheap fee, that fee should maybe allow them 1 free copy a year. I would really like to see that happen.

I have never really had an issue with the Effingham office in the past years. This is the second time however that I used the online. service. I was having issues again. I waited for as while then finally got an agent. I told him I want a refund. Basically I was told a bunch of bull and will not be getting a refund. No such thing there as 100 % accuracy according to that guy. Total scam, it happened to me last year but smart enough to not let it happen again this year. Just letting all u fellow online users know beware of them saying your return was denied and u have to pay more $ to get it filed again. Never again, lesson learned.

I did my taxes with these guys last year cost me $230 this year I wanted a paper a single piece of paper a copy and they wanted $15 for it this place is a rip off you can get your taxes done for free on cash app!!

I’ll probably never come back. We called to make an appointment and they said no need to come in today and we will get them done today. We went in and wait for 30 minuets the lobby was full. A lady said she had been waiting for over an hour and half. Went to the counter and asked when she would be called back because she had been then for over an hour. They told her she was next. They then called someone else up. She asked what gives and she told her oh they had an appointment. Calling people up because they had an appointment is fine I get that. But don’t tell people they can come in and they will get to them. Basically this lady and 6 other couples were all told to come in today they would get to us no appointment needed. And we all kept getting pushed back to those who made appointments. I’m just frustrated that they act like they are not busy and say we don’t need an appointment then this happens. They will be less busy for years to come because im taking my business elsewhere.
