Critical: QualityOur preparer was a very nice guy, but seemed VERY inexperienced. He had to go ask a colleague questions about every 10 minutes. Also, a huge turnoff….he was a ‘hunt and peck’ typist….seriously? Our return was fairly simple and what should of taken 30-45 minutes took more than 2 hours, in fact, my wife had to cancel an appointment because it took so long. Our preparer was a very nice guy, but seemed VERY inexperienced. He had to go ask a colleague questions about every 10 minutes. Also, a huge turnoff….he was a ‘hunt and peck’ typist….seriously? We had our taxes done here for the first time. The person helping us has not communicated with us at all, though I’ve emailed twice regarding our return. We owe and don’t want to get behind on payments. Today I called and asked to speak to the manager. He explained that many of them have kids in 4H showing animals, which clearly made me feel like they don’t care about their customers. It takes less than 5 minutes to return an email and even less time than that to make a phone call. Apparently she filed an extension without talking to us about it, so we’re accruing interest and didn’t even know it. We will never go back to an H&R Block.
