Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis lawyer was not good to deal with. I had to fire him while we stepped in front of judge. After giving him 4K in legal fees and other unrelated legal matters were dissolved in a federal case he continued to try and string along the divorce even though nothing accumulated during marriage. Said my son was an asset to him (lawyer) in the divorce case and to continue keep litigating going on forever. He was telling to not pay my rent and bills because his intention was to stick me in a revolving position to always have him bill me for eviction proceedings and so on. So of course I didn’t take his advice. He was trying to form a billing trap on me while threatening me which of course was causing massive stress and problems. Wage garnishment and seizing property or any kind of valuables he could think of. Then went on to say I can’t stop him cause he’s a lawyer. Finally I was like whatever guy and decided to fire him in the courtroom. When this happened he walked over and sat with his peers and he mumbled whatever I still made 4 grand off him. Yes you made 4K Jeff. Moral of story is I ended up closing the case myself without his help but got jerked out of 4K. And the reason I’m writing this review is because I ran into someone that mentioned this dude. Positive: ProfessionalismMr. Eger did an amazing job helping me in my case. He was there every step of the way and would call to check in and see how everything was going before the court date. Knowledgeable and good at what he does. Felt at ease knowing Mr. Edgar was representing me. Would highly recommend him to anyone!

Critical: Professionalism, ValueThis “lawyer” was completely unprofessional while handling the case between my sons father and I. He represented my sons father in a custody case. Upon our first meeting I made the mistake of agreeing to meet privately in a room with just this lawyer and myself to “discuss the case”. The discussion pretty much immediately turned into an attempt to make me feel as if I were guilty of something and attempting to tear down any spec of confidence I may have had. He used the same manipulative and emotionally abusive tactics and content my ex use to say to me. This lawyer actually asked me why I didn’t have an abortion, what my birth control method was and why it failed. Not knowing any better at the time, I answered him! I actually had to explain why I chose to have my son. At a custody hearing meeting!He tried to belittle me, putting me down for “just having an associates degree in nursing”. Completely disrespectful. Out of line. And poor morals.After realizing what he did in that initial meeting, I refused to speak with him over the phone or in person. All conversations were text or email. As he denied every word he said to me in that room.Yes, I am “Just” an associates degree nurse. But ya know what? He learned to not assume every case is cookie cutter. I was in fact not a scorned woman looking for revenge. I was a extremely concerned mother who would go to extreme lengths and measures to keep her child safe. I spent the month between hearings studying the R.I. law and gathering evidence the proper way. And in the end justice was served and my boy is safe.But beware, this man stoops to some pretty low measures and doesn’t do his research or get any factsI am not sure what you mean by my timing is suspicious… the only reason why this whole disaster crossed my mind is because you randomly popped up on my facebook as “someone you may know”. Which was strange because once I clicked to your page, I saw that the only mutual friend we share is a young woman who is an “only fans” worker. Then I saw you showcase yourself as warwicks friendly neighborhood attorney or something along those lines. You, myself and God knows how you treated me in that room.
