Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueI met with LaFonta 1st time in September 2021. My dear friend had a head injury and wanted me to talk to Mr Lafonta on his be half, When I was at Mr Lafonta’s office I sat in with him, another attorney and a legal secretary or paralegal…I wasn’t sure which. Well during our meeting he talked about how bad his staff was and what they were doing wrong. Then the paralegal left the meeting and JLF said he was going to fire her for the way she wore her clothes. Then the attorney left the meeting and it was just JLF and myself in the room. He then discussed getting rid of that attorney. I thought I was in a nightmare.Meanwhile he is wearing this black jumpsuit. Not even BUSINESS CAUSAL. He went on to talk about his ” boxing career” I forgot to mention that at this point JLF weighs about 350 lbs filling out this black leotard he chose to wear for our meeting.He talked about how great he ran his office, how he could pick a jury in 15 minutes and was paid to do just that. He also mentioned a staff member that nearly drank herself to death and left. He showed us around his office so proudly. Everyone there looked miserable and looked like they wanted to cry. Well he was called away and ended our meeting. Unbelievable!! I had left a file there and called many times to get it back. No response, until over a month later.Well believe it or not I came back to see him again concerning my friend’s case in middle November. ( I needed the file as well).Well JLF had gained another 50 lbs and was weighing in at 400 lbs now,And wearing the same black leotard…God this cant get any worse…He blamed his divorce and his ex wife ( of course a narcissist would blame everyone else)…. He took me around the office again, and I noticed that he had all new staff but for one person. He said that they had quit or was fired due to there shortcomings. I noticed he had cameras in every room. SOMETIMES 2 cameras in each room!!! Well one of the newer staff members told me that she just put her notice in and was leaving.Long story short,,,,,,JLF IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!! HIS OFFICE IS A MESS!!!HE CANT KEEP STAFF! HIS A MEGLOMANIC-THINKING THAT HE IS SOMETHING SPECIAL- HE IS NOT!! He is DELUSIONAL AND IS NOTHING MORE THAN A BOTTOM BOUNCER!!!He should put A BIG RED NOSE ON HIS FACE AND ACT LIKE THE CLOWN THAT HE IS!!! If I could rate a zero, I would. Not satisfied with the results of my case at all. I’m disabled, so Medicare is my primary insurance and my job is secondary. He settled my case before he got all my medical bills from Medicare. Because of this, Medicare is garnishing $328 a month to pay them back for my medical bills. I spoke with LaFonta telling him that Medicare said he didn’t return documents they had sent to him. He told me that was not true and he would send me all his correspondence with Medicare. Needless to say, that didn’t happen and he never returned my calls. Medicare isn’t much, so this garnishment has impacted my finances tremendously. Never had this problem with Morris Bart.

I was a client of Juan Lafonta. I called several times for issues regarding my case and pain issues. He refused to offer a better outlet or do something about it. His staff was unfriendly rude ill considerate of how much pain I am in situation I am in. SO he dismissed my case he does not want to be my lawyer anymore that I can go find another lawyer to take the case. I did in fact I will see them first thing tomorrow and I bet they will get me ship shaped repaired of my pain faster more effective then Juan Lafonta. He takes to long to act on his clients behalf while we sit and suffer . Plus when you go to his office all his workers including himself are African American there is not single white person working there or representing my majority of pain white supremacy people here in America . There is not a single white magazine in his collection of his waiting room ether. Guess this just proves he is shady arrogant in his dealing plus racists towards his clients and atmosphere how he runs his offices appearance wise. I would not recommend him I would recommend someone better nicer for that same price your getting! Plus I think he was discriminating against people with mental illness in my case I am bipolar schizo effective and he took no consideration to my pain and mental stability in all this ! Good luck fins someone better.

Very disappointing that he would have staff that will not handle his business accordingly to professional standards. They’re all very rude like Tatiana and some other lady. He even called back and said my friend was being rude with the ladies because he wanted to talk with him directly. If they would just do there job and transfer calls instead of asking people about info which should be discussed with the attorney. The company wants to settle for 7 figures but Q said he would get a attorney. That’s when he called Juan . Well I guess he want be getting his multimillion dollar case. Change your staff!!!!! Juan
