I got an OVI last month and I hired Mr. Kane to be my lawyer. I had never been in trouble before and it was my first time going to court. He explained everything to me ahead of time and I wasn’t nervous anymore. We went to court and he got my case down to a reckless driving. I didn’t get a license suspension or have to go to jail or anything. All I had to do was pay a $189 to the court and it was over. He did a great job for me and I recommend him to everyone.

I found myself in a scenario that I have never been in before. I called the police to help me change a tire when I was stuck on the side of the road over an hour away from home, and after the officer changed my tire we discovered that my spare tire was flat. We went to the officers cruiser and found the nearest gas station and the plan was for him to follow me. The officer out of nowhere accused me of being intoxicated (after being in his presence and changing a tire with him) for over an hour. And again, I called the police myself for help. He then arrests me and charges me with a physical control because he never actually saw me driving. Once he got me to the station to blow, I blew under the limit, and he still charged me. Being that I have never been in trouble before I was a complete mess. Mr. Kane talked to me multiple times and comforted me through the whole thing before I even had to hire him! Luckily it all got dismissed before having to hire a lawyer but I highly recommend him! Again, it’s not too often you find a lawyer who takes time out of their day just to comfort you before you have even paid them! To anyone in this area if you need an attorney for this type of service, this would be who I would recommend 100%!!!! Thank you again Mr. Kane, you have no idea how much your words helped my anxiety through this whole ordeal!

We did not hire Travis Kane for our son’s case but we did meet with him to discuss the details and he met with our son. He gave my husband a very uneasy feeling which is why we ended up going a different direction. What concerned us was that there was another court date set for two weeks and he lead us to believe that there would be no communication between himself, the prosecutors, the judge or anyone else until the day of court and that made us concerned. Especially when another lawyer said he would be communicating once we retained him. Also the other lawyer we spoke with had never heard of Mr. Kane, which pretty much set in stone that we would not be hiring him. Our son’s life is on the line and we needed someone who knew our goals and could work to get us there as much as possible and not just saying sorry and collecting our money on the way out the door. My husband said there was just no fire or passion behind him when he spoke and just didn’t make it feel personable, he had told our son, in a separate meeting, the exact same stories he had told us, which I’m sure all lawyers give examples of cases and have a “speech” that they say to clients. We just heard what could happen, but we didn’t hear what he could possibly do for us. Either way I don’t have anything bad to say about him, just sharing our experience and why we decided to go another direction. Either way we appreciate his time and what he told us.
