Also, shouldn’t say Not Responsive…they responded alright, and accomplished nothing except make my life miserable for 4 1/2 weeks. In the end, my agent took our business to Strain and Yackel where the closing took place in 2 weeks, including the Christmas Holidays. We were suggested to use this law firm during our land purchase…. they were “to busy”…. they failed to contact the seller in enough time with date for signing and had they, they would have know sellers had covid and couldn’t be there… so just days before signing they mailed out papers that never arrived in time to be back before date of us signing… hence delaying the entire signing and putting us in a window to have to all sign again. Thank god Ag south let the 7 day grace period go for us. And now the deed was never sent to us or the court house in a timely manner. Better management of time and more skilled help… I corresponded with too many “ secretaries“ and no one got the job done.

Was very rude when it came to the closing of our home. Our real estate agent chose them for closing and he was not open to answering the questions that our real estate agent was unable to answer. It was our first home and we had a lot of questions about the legalities of the loan. Mr. McKinney told us that if we don’t sign the paperwork then you don’t get the home and you could get sued by the seller for not buying it. We wanted the home but had questions and he didn’t care to answer them. Very unprofessional. We felt like we were just a number.
