I am writing this on behalf of my mother. She has been involved in a dispute over her sister’s estate. We approached Cathy Morton at Kizer & Black to look over the circumstances regarding this estate. Upon Cathy’s recommendation, we filed a lawsuit on my mother’s behalf. The dispute went to trial despite Cathy Morton’s best efforts to settle the estate before the necessity of a trial. Cathy was very patient, respectful, and kind to my elderly mother from start to finish of this lengthy process. As this dragged on for months, Cathy kept us informed on every development. As the trial approached, she worked diligently behind the scenes preparing for every potential direction the case could turn. Cathy was extremely thorough in her preparation from the very beginning of this dispute. Cathy’s knowledge and understanding of the law was beyond reproach. Her respect and professionalism in the courtroom setting was incredible. Thanks to Cathy Morton’s knowledge, extreme competence, and persistence, we accomplished the desired result. These attorneys are frauds. They meet with you but don’t state that they are billing you right from the start. They even bill you for making the initial call and scheduling an appointment, which if you are wondering is 2 tenths of an hour.
