Not feeling like a valued prospective client. Day 0: Spoke with ‘Jazmin’ who said we had a case for receiving benefits. Great! We believe so also. Day 1: received contract from ‘Jazmin’. Day 3: Email received from ‘Jazmin’ (via auto response?) that the contract had not been signed and returned. We replied directly to that email, understanding that we could do so, with some items to discuss. No reply from ‘Jazmin’. Day 4: Replied again with no response. Day 5: Another email received from ‘Jazmin’ (via auto push?). Called law firm and left message with answering service. ‘Jazmin’ is not available until working hours, 9am-5pm Mon-Fri. This sucks.

Wouldn’t give me the time of day without a dr note saying I have a disability. So I asked my doctor, he wrote that I do have a disability with his signature. I call to make an appointment with the firm again and this time I’m told that the letter needs to say that I am not able to work. I would think that working with disabled people, the firm would be a bit more specific and helpful. I feel jerked around and that they don’t care. People with disabilities don’t think like lawyers so be a little more helpful in the future. I would suggest having forms for your clients to be filled out since we don’t know exactly what you want. Rather than calling and getting a different answer each time. Seems unprofessional and not very helpful.
