Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueMy ex-spouse and I hired Melissa to mediate on our behalf. Melissa charged us $600 up front and told us this would include 2-3 hours of mediation, and the filing of the paperwork with Eagle County. Initially, she did a good job of helping us reach an agreement that suited our needs. After our 3 hour conversation, we were asked to follow-up 3 weeks afterwards, so she could file the paperwork. Melissa wanted an additional $600 that was never mentioned up front. Even then, we agreed to move forward 6-8 weeks afterwards; Melissa never returned my ex-spouses phone calls. Melissa was also unprofessional, was late on our first call, and referred to me as “dude” on 4 occasions during the mediation.My ex-spouse and I hired Melissa to mediate on our behalf. Melissa was a huge help through out my divorce and after. She was insightful and straight to the point.
