My bankruptcy discharged nearly four years ago. I have spent this time rebuilding my credit. I decided to buy a house and started the whole loan process. I was pre-approved found a house and everything was going well until a past debt that was handled in the bankruptcy popped up on my credit report. I struggled with the creditor for weeks to remove it but just got the run around from them. I then remembered what Jerry and his staff told me after the bankruptcy discharged. I was told that even years later if I had any problems with the bankruptcy I could come back for help. From the front desk clerical staff to Jerry himself. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and the service I received from their paralegal, Efren Diaz, was excellent! A relative of mine got into some financial difficulties and asked me if I would help him solve these problems; he was considering bankruptcy. His concern was protecting some of his assets. I called Jerry Lowe’s office to ask some difficult questions re: the best course of action. Jerry gave me the answers immediately. He was friendly, but didn’t sugar coat things either and I appreciate that. Jerry told me my relative was not a good candidate for bankruptcy, but gave me valuable advice and some inside information as to the best strategy to solve the relative’s financial predicament. I’ve worked with quite a few attorneys over the years and they aren’t usually interested in turning away business. However, even though Jerry wasn’t going to find a new client in my relative, he took the time necessary to help me with a solid strategy for him to follow. Solid legal advice you can trust. I went to Jerry in an effort to avoid bankruptcy, or at least have him negotiate better terms for paying off my debt. Jerry was very knowledgeable and it was clear he was a very experienced attorney. He knew right away what lenders would be willing to negotiate settlements and those that would not. Turns out, he was exactly right on all counts. One company refused any offers. But, the others Jerry worked with, he was able to negotiate very(!) reasonable settlement offers. With Jerry, I avoided bankruptcy and was able to pay off some of my larger debt so I can now begin to rebuild my credit rating. Thanks Jerry!
