I hire Esq Melanie Marmer to petition a divorce proceedings in 2005, and I regret the day I Hired her.Here are some of the main reasons:1. She failed to bring a resolution to this simple2. She represented me poorly to say the least.3. She did not perform due diligence in this matter.4. She is an ineffective communicator.5 She ALLOW THE OTHER ATTORNEY AND HIS CLIENT TO WALK ALL OVER HER AND SHE DID NOTHING. THEY REFUSE TO TURN OVER DOCUMENTS AS PROMISE AND REQUIRED BY THE COURT ORDERS.6. She FORGOT TO ORDER THE APPRAISAL OF THE PROPERTY ON ORDERS FROM THE COURT AT OUR FIRST HEARING, RESULTING IN THE POSSIBLE LOSS OF HUNDREDS OF THOUSAND OF DOLLARS. IN FACT AFTER A YEAR THE OTHER ATTORNEY PERFORMED A TRANSFER OF PROPERTIES AND ASSETS FROM HER NAME.7. SHE SCHEDULED AN UNNECESSARY TRIAL FOR JUNE 2017. WOULD YOU BELIEVE FROM NOVEMBER 2016 UNTIL MAY 2017 I DID NOT HEAR FROM HER. AT THAT TIME I REMOVE HER FROM THE CASE.8. SHE HAS REFUSE TO GIVE ME A COPY OF MY FILE OR TURN IT OVER TO MY NEW ATTORNEY.9 SHE HAS VIOLATED THE JUDGE ON THE CASE ORDERS TO TURN OVER THE FILE. TODAY IS AUGUST 28 AND I STILL DON’T HAVE MY FILE WITH AN ONGOING CASE. VERY UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL10. She billed me for work she did not perform.
